<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device capable of improving a track density of an optical disk, in a device that records or reproduces information in or from the optical disk, the device including a guide layer having a physical groove-structured track for performing a tracking servo control and a plurality of recording layers for performing recording-reproducing and not having a groove-structured track. <P>SOLUTION: In this configuration, light paths of a guide layer optical system and a recording layer optical system are arranged to be distanced from each other. Accordingly, no interference occurs with each other even if a laser of the same wavelength is used, and reflectance from the optical disk can be accurately detected. Thus, through using a laser of the same shorter wavelength as the recording layer optical system, as a light source of the guide layer optical system, a diameter of a laser spot for irradiating on a guide layer can be made smaller and a track pitch of the guide layer can be made narrower. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
