<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a display device capable of making an organic EL element emit light at a luminance higher than the maximum luminance during normal light emission. <P>SOLUTION: A display device has a series circuit comprising an organic EL element 13 and a drive transistor 118, a capacitive element 123, a ground wire gnd, and a power line 120, and the ground wire gnd is electrically connected with a source electrode side end part of the drive transistor 118 in the series circuit, and the power line 120 is electrically connected with a drain electrode side end part, respectively. A method of manufacturing the display device includes: a charging step of making a potential of the ground wire gnd be such a potential that a voltage between a gate electrode and a source electrode becomes higher than that during normal light emission to charge the capacitive element 123 at a voltage higher than that during the normal light emission; and a high luminance light emission step of making the organic EL element 13 emit light at a luminance higher than the maximum luminance during normal light emission on the basis of the charging voltage of the capacitive element 123 charged in the charging step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
