<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non contact power transmission apparatus which inhibits heat generation of a foreign object even in a case where the foreign object approaches or is disposed close to the non contact power transmission apparatus when a power reception device is placed on a placement surface of a power transmission device and power transmission is conducted, and to provide an electronic apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A non contact power transmission apparatus includes: a power transmission apparatus 101 incorporating a power transmission antenna 11 and a power reception apparatus 201 incorporating a power reception antenna 21 electromagnetically coupled to the power transmission antenna 11. The power transmission antenna 11 and the power reception antenna 21 are disposed facing each other to transmit electric power.
