摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a novel optical activity fluorine-containing &beta;-amino acid derivative useful as the synthetic intermediate of a medicine and pesticide; a manufacturing method of the same; and a manufacturing method of a trifluoromethyl group-containing &beta;-amino acid derivative. <P>SOLUTION: Optical activity trifluoromethyl(t-butyl sulfine imine) and malonic acids are made to react in the presence of a base catalyst, thereby an optical activity fluorine-containing &beta;-amino acid derivative of formula (1) is obtained and is performed by the processing of an acid to be a trifluoromethyl group-containing &beta;-amino acid derivative.
