The method involves manufacturing a first plastic core (2) with an insert component (4) such as a carbon fiber reinforced plastic component or a glass fiber reinforced plastic component and manufacturing a second plastic core (3) which is different from the first plastic core and adapted to the hollow fiber composite component (1). Solidification of prefabricated hollow fiber composite component is carried out with respect to the hollow fiber composite component, by a molding process. Both the plastic cores are made of expanded polypropylene (EPP) or polyurethane (PU) foam core.
