<p>An extended access barring (EAB) information update method and terminal, the method comprises: after the terminal receives the EAB information update indication,the EAB information is recorded to update; When the terminal is ready for initiating an access request, if judging that the EAB information has the update record, then the updated EAB information is read. The present invention could update the EAB information frequently.</p>
