<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector capable of securing sufficient holding force even by a small number of cores, and providing stable connection. <P>SOLUTION: This electric connector 10 includes a plug connector 20 having plug contacts 24 and a block 22, and a receptacle connector 50 having receptacle contacts 54 and a housing 52. The electric connector 10 is characterized in that a recessed part 36 for entering a second contact part 56 of the receptacle contact 54 therein is formed on a first contact part 26 of the plug contact 24; at least two of the receptacle contacts 54 located on both end sides in the longitudinal pitch direction and symmetrical to the center of the electrical connector 10 are formed into second receptacle contacts 55 each having an engaging contact part 80 engaging with and contacting to the recessed part 36; and mutual extraction force of both the connectors 20 and 50 is increased by making the engaging contact parts 80 of the second receptacle contacts 55 engage and contact with/to the recessed parts 36 of the plug contacts 24 by entering the recessed parts, and electrical connection can be provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
