Pressure measurement device and pressure measuring method for a turbomachinery

The device has an igniter comprising a sensor unit (1) for measuring ion current (Ii) in a location within a combustion chamber (10) of a turbomachine. The sensor unit comprises a pair of electrodes for measuring the ion current. A control device (5) detects dynamic changes of the ion current using the sensor unit. The sensor unit detects spatial differences of the ion current in the combustion chamber. One of the electrodes of the sensor unit is arranged in a combustion chamber wall and insulated against earth. An independent claim is also included for a pressure measuring method for measuring pressure in a combustion chamber of a turbomachine.
