PURPOSE: A light emitting device and an electronic device are provided to restrain the change of carrier balance according to the time by forming a layer to control the movement of the electrons or holes. CONSTITUTION: A first electrode(202) is formed on a substrate(201). An EL layer(203) is formed on the first electrode. The EL layer includes a first layer(211) using a polymeric compound, a second layer(212), and a light emitting layer(213). The EL layer further includes a fourth layer(214) to control the movement of the carriers and a fifth layer(215) including a high electronic transport material. A second electrode(204) is formed on the EL layer.
