PURPOSE: A casting frame and a manufacturing method of an optical fiber using the same are provided to manufacture an optical fiber base material which has various cores and a clad structure. CONSTITUTION: A casting frame for manufacturing a clad base material of an optical fiber combines a first casting frame in which a protrusion unit is formed in a longitudinal direction on a plated substrate and a second casting frame in which a semicircular or polygonal inner groove is formed in the longitudinal direction on the plated substrate.
