PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a high dielectric constant ceramic is provided to improve the dielectric constant of the ceramic by optimizing the content of a lanthanum compound and the calcinations temperature although titanate alkali earth metal salt with less than 100nm particle diameter is used as a main raw material. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a high dielectric constant ceramic comprises the following steps: a titanate alkali earth metal compound with the particle diameter greater than 50nm and less than 100nm is mixed with a lanthanum compound; and the mixture from the previous step is calcinated at a temperature of higher than 1,000 deg. C and less than 1,200 deg. C under an inert gas atmosphere. The content of the lanthanum compound is 0.5-1.5at% as the atom number conversion of lanthanum on the basis of total amount of the titanate alkali earth metal compound. A high dielectric constant ceramics is used for a semiconductor which is equipped in a multi-layer ceramic capacitor(1).
