PURPOSE: An axial magnetic bearing device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to spray and coat magnetic material powder on a spacer which is a non-magnetic material, thereby level processing the space accurately and easily. CONSTITUTION: An axial magnetic bearing device comprises a rotary shaft(1), a pair of cores(2a,2b), a pair of coils(3a,3b), and a spacer(4). A flange is formed in the rotary shaft. The pair of cores is installed respectively in both sides of the flange. The coils are coiled around the pair of cores. The spacer is installed in between the pair of cores along the outer periphery of the flange, and prevents a magnetic leakage of the cores simultaneously with adjusting a gap between the cores. |
