PURPOSE: An antioxidative composition containing a fermented Liriope platyphylla extract is provided to remove radicals and to suppress peroxide without side effects in a human body. CONSTITUTION: An antioxidative composition for a medicinal and pharmaceutical product contains a fermented Liriope platyphylla extract as an active ingredient. The Liriope platyphylla extract is fermented by using one or more kinds selected from a group consisting of Aspergillus oryzae, Bifidobacterium breve, Bacillus subtilis, Lactobacillus acidophilus, and Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The extract is prepared by using water, C1-C4 alcohol, and a mixture solvent thereof. An antioxidative composition for foods contains the extract as an active ingredient. An antioxidative composition for a cosmetic product contains the extract as an active ingredient.
