<p>PURPOSE: A method for confirming installation of an application and a server thereof are provided to generate installation confirmation data for the application before providing installation data of the application, which is stored in an application store server, to a terminal, thereby enabling the confirming of installation completion of the application installed in the terminal. CONSTITUTION: When a terminal accesses an installation management server, an installation confirmation data generation unit(220) generates installation confirmation data based on identification information of the terminal and an application which is accessed to an application store server by the terminal. An installation confirmation determination unit(230) compares received installation confirmation data with the installation confirmation data which is generated in the installation confirmation data generation unit. When the received installation confirmation data corresponds to the installation confirmation data, the installation confirmation determination unit determines completion of installing the application in the terminal.
