The light emitting device includes a growth substrate, a first conductive semiconductor layer on the growth substrate, an active layer on the first conductive semiconductor layer, a second conductive semiconductor layer on the active layer, and an ohmic contact layer having a concavo-convex structure on the second conductive semiconductor layer.
