PURPOSE: A system and a method for connecting a call of a mobile terminal located in a cell boundary are provided to transmit a call connection and a call connection related message to a current cell when a mobile terminal tries to make an initial call. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal(100) transmits an RRC(Radio Resource Control) connection request message to a base station controller(150) through a base station of a current cell. The mobile terminal receives an RRC connection setup message from at least one base station. The mobile terminal selects one of the base stations which transmit the RRC connection setup message. The mobile terminal transmits the RRC setup completion message to the selected base station. The base station controller requests the RRC connection setup message transmission to the mobile terminal from the base stations of the current and monitoring cell. |
