ANTI-OSTEOPOROSIS EFFECT OF HYALURONIC ACID

PURPOSE: A composition containing hyaluronic acid for preventing and treating osteoporosis is provided to induce the generation of collagen in a skin tissue. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating osteoporosis contains hyaluronic acid such as high molecular hyaluronic acid, middle molecular hyaluronic acid, and low molecular hyaluronic acid as active ingredients. The high molecular hyaluronic acid is prepared by the fermentation of the hyaluronic acid with microbes. The middle molecular hyaluronic acid and low molecular hyaluronic acid are prepared by an enzymatic method using the high molecular hyaluronic acid. The high molecular hyaluronic acid, the middle molecular hyaluronic acid, and the low molecular hyaluronic acid increase bone density and collagen, and prevent and treat osteoporosis.
