A clip 12 for concrete reinforcement comprises a pair of opposed resilient clipping arms 18 separated by a central web 30 such that a separate clipping section 12a, 12b is defined between a respective one of the arms 18 and the central web 30. Each clipping arm 18 has at an outer end an inwardly projecting flange. The flange is engageable by a reinforcing rod 10 upon insertion into the clipping section 12a, 12b. The configuration of the clip 12 is such that a rod inserted into the clipping section 12a, 12b will cause outwards deflection of the arm 18 and outwards deflection of the inner flange relative to the arm 18.
