PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce errors of a line slope direction according to the arrangement error of an upper and lower substrate. CONSTITUTION: A line slope direction(C11) of a liquid crystal molecule which is adjacent to a first substrate in a first domain(A) originates from the right side to the left side. A line slope direction(C22) of a liquid crystal molecule which is adjacent to a second substrate originates from the upper side to the lower side. The first substrate originates to light in a second domain(B). The line slope direction of the liquid crystal molecule which is adjacent to the first substrate is vertical to the surface of the first substrate.
