A HORSE NOVEL GENE CONTAINING FIBRONECTIN DOMAIN

摘要

PURPOSE: A novel gene containing a fibronectin domain in a horse with interferon gamma receptor 2(IFNGR2) homology is provided to improve immunity of a horse through immunomodulation. CONSTITUTION: A novel gene of a horse is isolated from horse blood or muscle and contains a nucleotide sequence of sequence number 1. A nucleic acid molecule encoding a novel protein with a fibronectin domain in a horse is selected from a group consisting of nucleic acid molecules containing a nucleotide sequence of sequence number 1. The nucleic acid molecule contains a nucleotide sequence encoding a protein with 70% or more homology with a mammalian fibronectin domain. A polypeptide forming a protein containing a fibronectin domain or a part thereof contains an amino acid sequence of sequence number 2. A novel protein containing the horse fibronectin domain contains the polypeptide or a part thereof.
