<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system which, although a reformer is included, has a large fluctuation width in output power, and can be quickly started when the power supply is down, and an operation method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell system 10 comprises: a plurality of reformers Rn (n=1 to 3) which reform a raw material to generate a hydrogen-containing reformed gas; at least one fuel cell stack Fn (n=1 to 3) which generate electricity by using the reformed gas supplied from the reformers Rn; a storage battery S0 which is connected in parallel to the fuel cell stack Fn; and a controller Ct which controls the operation of the reformers Rn according to the amount of charge in the storage battery S0. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
