<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical pulverizer which can adjust a flow rate of gas for conveyance, can prevent fall of matter to be pulverized and can adjust primary classification strengthening. <P>SOLUTION: The vertical pulverizer is composed of blocks formed by dividing a throat 42 arranged between a housing 44 and a pulverizing table 2 to two or more along a circumferential direction. The blocks are composed of a combination of: a first block 501 which has two or more throat openings 84 surrounded by an inner ring 70, an outer ring 71 and a throat vane 43; and a second block 502 which has one or more throat openings 84 and one or more closed parts 82 closing the throat openings 84. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
