<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for cooling a reactor containment vessel which enables a water source for cooling to be set at a low position. <P>SOLUTION: A reactor containment vessel cooling device 10 includes: a nozzle 15 that supplying an air channel 24, which guides an ascending air current 28 generated by heat exchange of a containment vessel 21 and air coming into contact with its surface to an air outlet port 27, with droplets flowing into the ascending air current 28; and a droplet capture part that captures unvaporized droplets 17 near the air outlet port 27 and causes them to drop to the surface of the containment vessel 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
