<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine capable of accurately detecting the weight of laundry in response to variation among individual washing machines and fluctuation in an ambient environment. <P>SOLUTION: The washing machine comprises a washing tub 30 disposed inside an outer casing 10 for placing laundry therein; a pulsator 33 for stirring the laundry placed in the washing tub 30; a motor 41 for rotating the washing tub 30 and the pulsator 33; and a laundry weight detecting part 78 for detecting the weight of the laundry. In the washing machine, a washing course in which the motor 41 is driven with laundry placed or a non-washing course in which the motor 41 is driven without placing laundry can be selected, and the non-washing course is provided with a correction mode for correcting a determination value for the laundry weight obtained based on a detection value detected by the laundry weight detecting part 78. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
