PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device configured to apply lubricant more uniformly to the surface of a photoreceptor drum using a brush roller.

SOLUTION: The image forming device includes: a photoreceptor drum (image carrier) 1; a lubricating material 6 containing lubricant to be applied onto the surface of the photoreceptor drum 1; a rotating brush roller 7 in contact with the surface of the photoreceptor drum 1 and the lubricating material 6; and a vibration part 700 for vibrating the brush roller 7.
