<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass substrate having a bearing stress layer pattern on the surface. <P>SOLUTION: The bearing stress layer pattern F is provided on at least one surface of the glass substrate, and the pattern F defines a plurality of local regions having each different bearing stress on the surface, which include some high-pressure stress regions 12 and low-pressure stress regions 13, and each high-pressure stress region 12 is installed in the mutually separated state by each low-pressure stress region 13. The high-pressure stress region 12 of the glass substrate enhances glass resistance to improve function of preventing rupture and scratch, and the low-pressure stress region 13 maintains processability to help the glass substrate to be easily cut, split or polished. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
