<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera system of excellent operability which does not generate a dead angle while a large number of cameras are not installed. <P>SOLUTION: The camera system comprises: a camera 101 comprising subject distance detection means for detecting a subject distance as a distance to a subject 103; photographing direction change means capable of changing the photographing direction of the camera; moving means for moving the camera; moved distance detection means for detecting a distance moved by the moving means; and control means which calculates an angle between the camera and the subject from the subject distance and the moved distance and changes the photographing direction of the camera by the photographing direction change means on the basis of the angle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
