PURPOSE: A granular powder for a sacrifice lubrication layer is provided to reduce frictional force between electrolyte and a pressing plate, thereby preventing formation of defects on the surface of the electrolyte. CONSTITUTION: A granular powder for a sacrifice lubrication layer is manufactured from slurry which comprises a sacrifice lubrication raw material powder, binder, plasticizer, and solvent and is inserted between an electrode-electrolyte pressing plate and the electrolyte. The sacrifice lubricant raw material powder is the same material as the electrolyte of a solid oxide fuel cell and is selected from yttria-stabilized zirconia, Scandia, stabilized zirconia, and strontium manganese-doped lanthanum gallate. The slurry is manufactured into the granular powder by a spray drying or liquid phase method.
