<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-counterfeit paper with high smoothness of surface or high strength, hard to be subjected to falsification or counterfeit due to the inclusion of an intermediate layer, which is exposed partially in the paper and further develops the change of the optical property therein, and further with a watermark having a plurality of gradations, and capable of being made by a different method from a watermarking method. <P>SOLUTION: An anti-counterfeit paper, which is a watermark paper, comprises a paper substrate 1 and an intermediate layer 2 included into paper layers of the paper substrate 1 and consisting of transparent polymer resin film with overall or a part of the intermediate layer 2 having a thickness that varies within a range of 6 μm to 200 μm and a part of the intermediate layer 2 being exposed on one side or both sides of the paper substrate 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
