<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly bend and deform a rod set between both side frames of a seat cushion, in a desired direction when a vehicle side collision occurs. <P>SOLUTION: A fragile part 35A is formed in a rod 35 disposed between both side frames 11A of the seat cushion 10, for facilitating buckling deformation of the rod 35 in a specific direction so as to bend and deform the rod 35 in direction away from a battery unit 40 under the seat cushion 10, when impact force caused by a side collision is input from the side of a seat to the seat cushion 10. The fragile part 35A includes a first cutout 35A1 and a second cutout 35A2 for weaken surface parts so as to bend the rod 35 in the direction away from the battery unit 40 and the opposite direction, in an end part where the impact force of the rod 35 is input.
