<p>The system and method of location-based delivery of notice of an alarm and/or event incorporates location-based information in real time to facilitate alarm and/or event handling. The system and method ranks recipients in order of proximity to an alarm and/or event location. Recipients can be workstations, devices, or operators, and can be hard-coded or updated in real-time using GPS. The system and method can also rank recipients using multiple factors to provide an alarm and/or event handling system that is more efficient and more secure.</p> |
