<p>[Problem] To control the posture of an object lens more accurately. [Solution] This optical pickup device comprises: a lens holder that holds an object lens; an actuator that drives the lens holder; and a pair of suspension wires connected between the actuator and respective side surfaces of the lens holder, which oppose one another, in a manner such that the lens holder moves in a focusing direction and a tracking direction. The optical pickup device is characterized in that: each of the opposing side surfaces of the lens holder has a projecting piece that projects at a position closer to the actuator than the position where an end of the suspension wire is connected; and each projecting piece comprises an insertion hole through which the suspension wire is inserted, an inclined surface that is formed so as to increase the length of the interval between the insertion hole and the side surface in the direction in which the suspension wire is extended, and a coating surface provided adjacent to the inclined surface and around the insertion hole, the coating surface being coated with an adhesive so that the suspension wire is fixed to the projecting piece.</p> |
