<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuser member that has heat resistance equivalent to that of thermoplastic polyimide, and can reduce a manufacturing cycle time. <P>SOLUTION: A fusing member or transfix member 200 includes: a belt substrate 210 made of a thermoplastic polyimide polymer and a polybenzimidazole; one or more functional intermediate layers 220 formed on the substrate and including a material selected from a group of silicone and fluoroelastomer; and an outer surface layer 230 that is a release layer including fluoropolymer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
