<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber-reinforced plastic tape in which a matrix resin is securely impregnated into reinforcing-fiber bundles, and having excellent strength and light weight. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a tape-shaped member obtained by impregnating the matrix resin comprising a thermoplastic resin into longitudinally aligned reinforcing fiber bundles, coating and curing, wherein the volume percentage of the reinforcing fibers is set at 10 to 50%, and the rate of yarn number of the reinforcing fibers having at least 50% of each peripheral surface covered with the matrix resin is set at 98 to 100%, and the maximum of the tensile specific strength at a tape thickness of 100 to 5000 μm in the tensile test conforming to JIS K 7165 is at least 100 MPa. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
