METHOD FOR PRODUCING HYDROXY-SANSHOOL INCLUSION

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing hydroxy-sanshool with high efficiency at high purity by removing high-boiling point components such as terpenes or triglyceride contained in an extracted oil from a Zanthoxylum plant.

SOLUTION: An extracted oil from the Zanthoxylum plant is further extracted with ethanol aqueous solution having an ethanol concentration of 35-65 mass%, to thereby produce efficiently a hydroxy-sanshool inclusion containing ≥70 mass% hydroxy-sanshool.
