PURPOSE: A single number service providing method of a communication terminal using a PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network) and an IP(Internet Protocol) network and a system thereof are provided to display an originating number in the communication terminal. CONSTITUTION: An authentication processing device(210) authenticates a single number service of a communication terminal through a PSTN. An origination processing device(220) processes the origination of the communication terminal through the PSTN or the IP network. A single number processing device(230) confirms whether the single number service is authenticated in the origination of the communication terminal. When the communication terminal is authenticated, the single number processing device sets an origination number as the registered single telephone number.
