The breast pump has a funnel (2) which is intended to receive the breast. The funnel is made of a flexible material and extended into the housing for producing pumping effect. A pumping effect producing device is provided with a planet wheel that is movable over a portion of the length of the funnel, while compressing the funnel. The funnel is provided with tubular prolongation at narrow end.
