A drawplate mechanism for filter press comprises a base (1), a holder (16) fixed on the top of the base (1), a pair of withdrawal plate mounting ears (15) and corresponding a pair of drawplate mounting ears (9) fixed on two sides of the top of the holder (16). A withdrawal plate support (14) is installed on top of the two withdrawal plate mounting ears (15) by a withdrawal plate shaft (13), the withdrawal plate support (14) is supported by a withdrawal plate spring (12); a drawplate support (11) is installed on top of the two drawplate mounting ears (9) by a drawplate shaft (8), the drawplate support (11) is supported by a drawplate spring (10). A bolt sheath support (2) is outside of the drawplate support (11) on the holder (16). A bolt sheath (5) is fixed on top of the bolt sheath support (2). In the bolt sheath (5), a bolt (3) can translate along the axis which is coaxial with the axis of the bolt sheath (5). A driving lever movement groove (6) with through-hole is on one side of the bolt sheath (5), a driving lever (4) is in fixed connection with the bolt (3) in the driving lever movement groove (6). The withdrawal plate spring (12) and the drawplate spring (10) are torsion spring. The bolt (3) can insert into the entrance of the bolt (7) on the drawplate support (11).
