The fitting e.g. system separator (10), has a housing (12) comprising a supply pipe, a discharge pipe and an outlet. A drinking water consumer is connected to a discharge adapter (15) over a threaded connection (30) i.e. standard threaded connection. A drinking water permanent line is connected to a supply adapter (13) of the housing over a form-fit or force-fit connection e.g. bayonet connection or retaining clip connection, that is different from the threaded connection. The supply adapter has an alignment unit designed as a projection or groove, and the housing has an inlet chamber.
