<p>In a belt grinding machine for workpieces (1) with profiled narrow surfaces (2), the drive and deflection rollers (5, 8, 8') for the grinding belt (4), which is highly elastic in the transverse direction, are provided with a mating profile (10) essentially corresponding to the workpiece profile (2).
