PURPOSE: A showcase system and an operation method thereof are provided to effectively display the information about the products arranged in a showcase, by using a transparent liquid crystal panel on the front of the showcase and displaying the images related to the products on the liquid crystal panel. CONSTITUTION: An operation method of a showcase system equipped with a transparent display panel includes the following steps: a step of receiving a touch input for a fixed region on the transparent display panel(S1110); a step of displaying an on-screen keyboard(S1120); a step of receiving a product information input(S1130); and a step of mapping the information of the fixed region onto the product information and storing the same(S1140).
