The oil separator (1) has a housing (2), which has a cylindrical wall (5), an axial inlet (3) for blow-by-gas and an axial outlet (4) for blow-by-gas, where an impactor (8) is arranged in the housing in a flow path (7) of the blow-by-gas that is guided from inlet to outlet. Multiple nozzles (9) are arranged between the inlet and outlet in the flow path, and are aligned radially on an inner side (10) of the wall. An axial opening (11) is formed on the nozzles on a side facing the outlet, and is controlled with a valve unit (13), which is driven into a closing position by spring force (14). |
