<p>The invention relates to a crimping sleeve comprising a base part (11) and at least two deformable crimping blades (12) for producing a crimped connection to a cable (4), wherein the crimping blades (12) each comprise a first region (B1) connected to the base part (11), a second region (B2), and a middle region (MB) disposed between the first and the second regions (B1, B2), and wherein the base part (11) comprises a greater thickness (d1) than the middle region (MB) of the crimping blades (12), the first region (B1) tapers down (V1, V11, V12) from the base part (11) toward the middle region (MB) at least on a first side (S1) and the second region (B2) further tapers down (V2) from the middle region (MB), starting at least on a second side (S2) opposite the first side (S1), said sleeve thereby being equally suitable for cables having different cross sections for producing a reliable connection between the cables and crimping sleeve.
