METHOD FOR SELECTING POSTOPERATIVE TREATMENT STRATEGY IN PATIENTS WITH MULTIRESISTANT PULMONARY TUBERCULOSIS

A method for selecting the postoperative treatment strategy in the patients with multiresistant pulmonary tuberculosis comprises the test of drug sensitivity, the resection of the lung, the long-term combined chemotherapy with second-line drugs. The duration of the treatment is assessed on individual basis depending on the degree of the radical resection, the presence of tuberculous and destructive foci in resected and contralateral lungs taking into account histomorphological and bacteriological signs indicative of tuberculosis progression.
