摘要 PURPOSE: An output control method for the malfunction of a steering angle sensor is provided to ensure driving safety by recognizing the malfunction of a steering angle sensor and preventing the malfunction of an electric power steering device. CONSTITUTION: An output control method for the malfunction of a steering angle sensor comprises the following steps: determining whether a steering angle measured by a steering angle sensor is out of a detection range limit by using a control unit or not; outputting the malfunction state of a steering angle sensor if the steering angle is out of the detection range limit and recording a malfunction diagnosis code by using the control unit; confirming whether the zero position of a steering angle is reset or not; and canceling the output of the malfunction state and deleting the malfunction diagnosis code when the reset of the steering angle zero position is completed.
