PURPOSE: A dehumidifier for air clearing and a dehumidification method thereof are provided to prevent from being a user surprised by a noise and a vibration by not being the noise and the vibration suddenly generated in a dehumidification action. CONSTITUTION: A dehumidifier for air clearing and a dehumidification method thereof comprise filter sections(10,10'); a dehumidification part(20); a ventilation fan(30); and a control unit(40). The ventilation fan makes an external air flow in to an inside. The control unit increases a rotating speed of a ventilation fan to a predetermined rotating speed when input a dehumidification action signal. The control unit drives a dehumidification part when a rotating speed of a ventilation fan becomes the predetermined rotating speed. The dehumidification part comprises a refrigerant gas compressor(21); a condenser(22) liquidizing a compacted refrigerant gas; and a heat exchanger(23). The control unit drives the compressor when the rotating speed of the ventilation fan becomes the predetermined rotating speed.
