<p>The invention provides a digital multimedia receiver and a digital multimedia receiving method thereof. The digital multimedia receiver comprises a radio-frequency head for receiving the modulated digital multimedia signal; a analog-to-digital converter (ADC) for converting the signals output from the radio-frequency head into digital signals; a pattern detector for detecting whether the signals output from ADS are digital multi-carrier modulated signals or digital single-carrier modulated signals according to the identifying information read from the signals output from the ADC; a demodulation unit for demodulating the digital multi-carrier modulated signals or digital single-carrier modulated signals output from ADC. The identifying information comprises a PN sequence, at least one pilotfrequency or both of them.</p> |
