A method for cooling a saw blade (1), in which method cooling water is fed on the saw blade surface in order to decrease the temperature of the saw blade, wherein the feeding of cooling water on the saw blade (1) is adjusted on the basis of the saw blade temperature and on the basis of the formation of sludge created of sawing waste and cooling water. The invention also relates to a corresponding saw blade cooling system and to a saw provided with such a cooling system. |
