The sprinkler has an actuating unit associated to a distribution head for rotating the head around a rotation axis (A). A control lever (155) controls the unit. Displacement units formed of toothed wheel (170, 225), electric motors (195, 245) and toothed pinion (200, 250) respectively move end stop forming elements (160, 165) along a circular trajectory of the element. One of the toothed wheels has a rotation axis coinciding with the rotation axis of the head. One of the end stop forming elements is fixed to the wheel. One of the motors and one of the pinions rotate the wheel around the axis.
