PURPOSE: A remote monitoring apparatus is provided to monitor the quality of internal air inside the switchgear facility to normally operate a three dimensional air conditioning mode which circulates the internal air so that the even airstream is formed inside the switchgear, and to control immediately when a problem occurs. CONSTITUTION: A remote monitoring apparatus for the clean switchgear is comprised of the followings: a pressure sensor(1) which monitors the air condition inside the switchgear to watch the blockage of a dust filter in order to maintain predetermined dust concentration, temperature, and humidity; a temperature sensor(2) which monitors an electric heater being overheated; a moisture sensor(3) which monitors a surface of a cooling apparatus freezing; a microprocessor(8) which is connected through an interface board which interprets a monitoring signal from the sensors and decides the communication with an external central monitoring apparatus; the interface board(6,7) which matches with a signal of the sensors and the microprocessor; and a communication interface(11) which is connected to the microprocessor to enable the communication with the external central monitoring apparatus.
